Immediate postpartum support (2 hours after birth)
1 in-home postpartum visit (feeding support, recovery tips, newborn care guidance) between days 2-10 after delivery.
1 Prenatal Massage performed by an RMT in St. Albert at any point during your pregnancy.
8 hours of in-home daytime mothers helper services in the first month to help with the transition. Min. 4 hours per session.

The Haven

Our most comprehensive package for families who want full-circle support from pregnancy to postpartum.
4 prenatal visits, including a customized birth preparation + comfort measures sessions
2 Prenatal Massages performed by an RMT in St. Albert at any point during your pregnancy.
Ongoing text/phone/email support throughout pregnancy
On-call support from 37 weeks until birth
Continuous labour & birth support (no hour limit—includes backup doula if needed)
(Optional) Photos taken throughout your labour and birth experience to document the miracle of birth for you to revisit for the rest of your life!
Immediate postpartum support (up to 3 hours after birth)
2 in-home postpartum visits (feeding support, emotional check-in, recovery and newborn care). First one between 2-10 days after delivery, the second between 2-4 weeks after delivery.
16 hours of in-home daytime mothers helper services that can be claimed within the first 2 months of birth. Min. hours: 4.

Every birth is unique, and at The Haven, our goal is to provide continuous, compassionate support tailored to your needs. From early labour to delivery, we help you feel empowered, informed, and cared for, while supporting your partner and family throughout the experience.
We offer 3 Birth Support Doula Packages that include different aspects of:
1. Prenatal Support
Personalized prenatal visits (in-person or virtual).
Creation of a customized birth plan that reflects your preferences, values, and goals.
Education on comfort measures, labour positions, breathing techniques, and relaxation strategies.
Emotional support and guidance to reduce anxiety and increase confidence.
Partner coaching: how to support you effectively during labour and birth.
2. Continuous Labour & Birth Support
On-call availability beginning in late pregnancy until birth.
Physical comfort measures: massage, counterpressure, positioning, breathing support, and relaxation techniques.
Emotional encouragement and reassurance throughout labour.
Assistance with communication between you, your partner, and medical staff.
Advocacy for your wishes in hospital, birth center, or home birth settings.
3. Postpartum & Immediate Newborn Support
Initial guidance after birth to help you and your baby transition smoothly.
Assistance with early skin-to-skin contact, newborn care, and bonding.
Support for initiating breastfeeding or pumping if desired.
Emotional reassurance for parents in the first hours postpartum.
4. Partner & Family Support
Guidance for partners on practical support and emotional reassurance.
Involvement of siblings or other family members if desired, ensuring a calm and supportive environment.
5. Postpartum Support
Postpartum follow up visit in-home or virtually
Mother’s helper in-home services
6. Optional Add-Ons
Massage: Use of therapeutic massage prenatal, during early labour, or postpartum massage, performed by RMT.

Labour length varies and may exceed the included hours; options for this will be outlined in your contract and discussed with you well ahead of time! While every effort will be made to attend and support you throughout labour, birth timing cannot be guaranteed. The doula provides emotional, physical, and informational support only and is not a medical professional; this service does not replace medical care or hospital staff guidance.

4. Newborn Preparation
Introduction to basic newborn care, soothing techniques, and safe sleep practices.
Early feeding guidance (breastfeeding or bottle-feeding basics).
Preparing siblings or family members for the new baby.
5. Optional Add-Ons

This streamlined, focused session helps you create a clear, personalized birth plan so you feel confident and empowered, without committing to multiple visits. Perfect for busy parents or those who want concise guidance.

A single in-depth session (in-person or virtual) to explore your preferences and values.
